Skydiving is one of the most famous and common extreme sporting activities that you can enjoy almost everywhere. Of course, even though your life is on the line every jump and plunge you make, it does not mean that skydiving and parachuting companies are not really serious about your safety. What is the whole point of showing and displaying your midair bravery if you cannot “tell the tale” when you reach the ground.
The age of a skydiver is just a categorical baseline wherein legality and consent play. Of course, anybody can be a skydiver, but age may define the boarder line between being mature and immature although it is not really all conclusive and certain. As per legality, 16 years of age is the minimum required age for a skydiver. On the other hand, in some places, like in Mississippi, they allow 13 year-old jumpers to experience the high-altitude plunge with the consent of their parents and legal guardians.
As per world record, the world’s youngest skydiver is a young girl from Romania. She was just nine years of age when she made the official historic jump as being the youngest jumper. However, some references express that she was already into this extreme midair sporting activity before reaching the age of two.
